25 April ANZAC Day
今年もまたANZAC Dayの日がやってきました。
４月２５日はANZAC Day、第一次世界大戦のガリポリの戦いで勇敢に戦った
オーストラリア・ニュージーランド軍のために追悼を行なう日です。（Wikipedia抜粋）
ANZACはAustralia and New Zealand Army Corpsの略で、勇敢に戦った戦士たち
はANZACsと呼ばれました。
ニュージーランドには、いろいろな街で戦死者の慰霊碑が立てられています。
シンボルであるポピーの花が描かれている慰霊碑も多く見れます。
ANZAC Day間近になると、募金をした人にはこのポピーの花のバッジが配られる為、
街のあちらこちらでバッジをした人を多く見かけます。
また、２５日にはパレードも行なわれ、全国民で追悼を行なっている感じがします。
