I'll miss what I can't fit in my pocket!

...Recently I have started listening to Regina Spektor,one of the mentalists recommended her to me. As we sat together in Religion we shared earphones (one each) and listened to this woman with the sweet,hopeful,beautiful voice :) We were conspirators due to the nature of the action. Earphones and music are strictly forbidden in class,which I totally understand but I have a mere two weeks left so rule busting has been on my mind somewhat ;)
I will be leaving school soon. Prematurely. Instead of attending school next year,which is optional,I will be doing a year long course in Radio and Media Techniques :) I am sooo looking forward to it,more than I have been looking forward to anything school-wise in a long,long time. All I would change about it is the fact that I won't be doing it with all my current friends,I really want to bring them all with me in my pocket,all my fabbity mentalists,my gorgeous boyfriend,my nice friendly teachers,even the crumbly building with it's mouldy ceilings and flaky paint work. I want to gather it all up and put it safe in my pocket,bring it with me wherever I go.
But I know I can't.
I will miss it all but I know that this is the right thing for me,the right thing for my future. This is not only what I need to do,but also what I want to do!
I think that at this stage of my life that this is important. I feel like a change is needed :) I strive for more Independence in my learning,I want to choose what I learn,I want to specialise now! Not in two or three years time! :)
I wish I could keep my relationships the way they are now but that's not possible,I'll make the effort to keep them going strong,I hope that they do!
