It's Raining Cats & Dogs....
TAC™ has come up with some great cat and dog sets and we got to stamp images from both sets while at convention. I used the sets for a Paper Wings challenge this week and had a ball. I believe both sets were designed by a Disney designer and they are just adorable!!
These cute cats are from the Kitty Kitty Kitty set. Don't these look like the AristoCats? Almost realistic! I stamped with Noir PH ink on white premium card stock and colored with PrismaColor pencils, a 1/4' blender stump, and OMS (odorless mineral spirits). You can see some shading in the close up photo below. I also used our new Maggie SWIC paper. That paper is just gorgeous!! The light colored border was made with a Fiskars Treading Water border punch. The Just Because is from the Sophisticated Sentiments Hostess B set which you can earn FREE with a $250 net order.
I did use the Stardust Clear Gel pen on the butterfly. No wonder he caught the cat's attention.... And the little gems, they're from the Clear & Pearl Gem Collection. I used Glue Dots to attach them.
This cute little puppy comes from the Good Dog set, another I think made by a Disney designer. I used retired Mimi SWIC (replaced by More Mimi SWIC). He is also colored with the same products as the cat card above. I used the 11/2' and 2' circle punches and a 1/4' hole punch, too.
Now, if it would only rain in reality... It's quite dry here.
