Mogwai 'The Hawk Is Howling'
毎度毎度のインストなので、タイトルが覚えられないんだけどさ。
・静かに始まる（アルペジオとか）
・少しずつ盛り上がっていく
・5分ころから盛り上がり、フィードバックノイズが入ってくる
・7分ころまで頂点を続ける
という伝統的なモグワイスタイルの曲も悪くないんだけど、ちと「どっかで聴いた」感はぬぐえない。
'I Love You, I'm Going To Blow Up Your School'なんてまさにそんな感じ。
曲よりタイトルのほうが興味深い。
とはいえ、全然聴けてしまうわけで、まったく退屈しない。
聴いていても飛ばそうかな、とか思わない。
'The Sun Smells Too Loud'のようなダンス的？ポップ的？な新機軸の曲もあったり、'Dracula's Family'のような名曲もあったり。
フジロックにでるならば、また何回目か分からないけど見に行くよ！
とはいえ、好きな人は好き、っていう世界は脱せていないかも。
（「とはいえ」の多さが評価の触れ幅を物語る(笑)）
