The hardest card
Recently, one of my bosses lost her sister to cancer. There's really not anything you can do or say to make things better, but I thought a handmade card would at least help show how much I care & that I am thinking of her. Sympathy cards are always so hard, in part because it's hard to find good stamp images to use. I decided to use this sweet 'Little Girls - Swing Time' stamp from Lili of the Valley. It's not your traditional 'sympathy card image' but I like its warm and wistful feel - and sometimes a hug says more than words could ever say.
I kept the embellishments fairly simple both because of the nature of the card and to make it easier to mail. I bought these 3D daisy embellishments a while ago at Michaels. They were a really fast and easy embellishment.
Other supplies: Martha Stewart daisy border punch, Prismacolor pencils, sentiment (retired - TAC), kraft cs (TAC), papers from my scrap stash.
