Tragedy of H Ｈの悲劇
ロンロンがつぶれて、アトレになった。どこもかしこも、アトレだ。私は、街が均一化する感じに、なんとなく納得がいかないで「we don't need Atore」と言っていたが、最近では、アトレのパン屋でパンを買うようになっている。意志薄弱。
Lonlon deli closed and Atore store opens at the station. I was not happy about that first, but now I shopped at Atore. People change easily.
しかし、ロンロン閉店は意外な所で悲劇を生んでいた。吉祥寺在住７年目を迎えるカメラマンの友人Ｈは、ロンロンの食糧品売り場を「キッチン」として、８時以降の３０％引き、半額セールを愛用して、生き延びてきたのだが、ロンロン閉店で食べるものがなくなったのだ。
But one tragedy occurred at the side. My friend H shopped and ate 30-50% off food after 8pm at Lonlon deli, but she lost her kitchen after Lonlon closed.
腹を空かしたＨは、仕方なく、コンビニ弁当に手を出す事になる。お寿司屋さんのお嬢さんで、舌が肥えまくりの彼女には、かなりハードルの高い（？）ことだったが、一度越えると、「食べられる事がわかった」といい、ずるずる、このような乱れた食生活をしているらしい。
She started eat convenience store lunch box and some first food in a rotation. Her daddy is Sushi chef and she ate gourmet from her childhood. She was not happy of course.
料理ができないならわかるが、お寿司屋さんの娘だし、ニューヨーク時代はちゃんと自炊していた。が、「一人で食べる料理は、えさ」と信じて、今はただ、生き延びるためだけに食事をとっている。彼女のガスレンジの上には鍋がおかれ、コンタクトレンズ入れになっている。長らく使われてないのだ。
She is not bad chef originally. But she does not feel make dinner only for herself. Now her cooking pot is occupied by contact lenses maintenance products. She did not cook for a long time.
たまに、家に呼んで、食事を一緒にする。喜んでもらえるので（多分、実家の味付けが近いのだろう）、とてもうれしい。昨日のパーティーの話じゃないけど、喜んでもらうためのおもてなし、の一番シンプルな気持ちがこんな所だと思う。考えてみれば、私も一人でいつも食べていたら、料理し続けるのもイヤになるかもしれない。たまに、人が食べにくるから、それに合わせて、食生活がまわるようになり、米も炊くし、ダシもとるのかもしれない。一緒に食事をする事によって「えさ」から脱出してるのは、私でもあるのだろう。
Ｈの健康のためにも、彼女の鍋から、コンタクトレンズを取り出してくれる男性が現れないかなあ、と願う。さすがに、食べにくる人がいれば、作るだろう。
I invite her once in a while and have dinner together. I am pleased to please her. This is simple happy moment. I also do not have to eat alone. Probably she is right. I have no motivation to keep cooking if nobody comes. Somebody come for dinner. So I stock food at refrigerator and cook rice, boil the vegetables.
I hope that some guy will remove contact lenses products from her pot for her health. If somebody comes, she would start cooking.
